The Living Universe

A New Theory for the Creation of Matter in the Universe

Natural Philosophy Theory

The goal of natural philosophy is to reveal the basic truths of the universe at all levels of our existence. Progress toward this goal is made by constructing theories to explain the various phenomena that are observed in the world around us. Theories are developed by building on several different layers of knowledge.

A theory begins as pure imaginary knowledge. This brings together imagination and belief in an attempt to locate truth. Mathematical knowledge consists of a precise set of imaginary rules. An arbitrary assumption is knowledge consisting of common beliefs used as the elements of theory. The metaphysical assumption is knowledge based on a combination of verifiable experimental facts and beliefs not accessible to experiment. Experimental knowledge is based only on experimental measurements and does not include any metaphysical assumptions. The knowledge of God is the ultimate truth of existence in the universe. This ultimate truth of reality may or may not correspond with experimental evidence or other forms of human knowledge.

The Six Basic Layers of Knowledge

1. Pure Imagination

With the knowledge of pure imagination, anything goes. We can begin with a flat Earth riding on the back of a giant turtle and then go with it until we find an experiment that seems to disproves it. Beliefs gained from imagination are easily changed by actual physical evidence.

2. Mathematics

To take a theory one more step toward an ultimate truth, a mathematical framework must be imagined that is compatible with our new theory and can be used to connect it to other theories and explain experimental results.

3. Arbitrary Assumption

Most theories begin as a set of arbitrary assumptions. The theory then progresses toward fundamental truth as these assumptions are linked to mathematical equations and the results of actual experimental measurements. The theory can be falsified if the assumptions cannot be verified by either equations of by experiments.

4. Metaphysical Assumption

The theories within the standard model of physics are based on knowledge derived from metaphysical assumptions. Metaphysical assumptions are used to explain phenomena in such a way that they cannot be verified by the measurement process. The theories use mathematics to construct physical parameters that are not subject to direct experimental verification.

5. Experimental Measurement

The knowledge received through experimental measurement must be accepted at face value and does not contain any imaginary interpretation. Theories base on experimental measurement follow the results to their logical conclusion without reaching a metaphysical assumption. The theory of the Living Universe is based on knowledge obtained from experimental evidence and does not rely on any metaphysical assumptions.

6. Knowledge of God

These previous forms of knowledge all exist within the human mind. That which exists outside of the mind is God’s knowledge. The knowledge of God is simply the actual truth of reality. We humans each occupy a quantity of matter here in the universe. We do this with a quantity of consciousness that we know exists here in the universe because we each have some of it. God has consciousness that is either separate from our own or shared with it.

Any theory of the universe is a theory of God. God must occupy the whole universe. God either exists within the matter of the universe or God exists as an active consciousness separate from matter. Either God created the universe and then just watched or God became the universe as he was creating it. God either has a conscious existence within matter as we do, or he has a conscious existence separate from the matter he created. These different possibilities for God can never be known be cause they are not subject to measurement. One of the tenants of experimental science is that if we can detect it and measure it, it is not God.

In the Living Universe there is both God and a Goddess. Near the beginning, they met, joined together and then began reproducing into copies of themselves. They began as a single pair but by the time that they were finished there were 2256 exact copies of each. Today, their total is still 2257 and the electrons are the Gods of the universe and protons are the Goddesses. The consciousness that we experience stems from our protons and electrons and thus we share our consciousness with the Gods.

The Living Universe Book

A New Theory for the Creation of Matter in the Universe

In the Living Universe, the properties of matter slowly evolve with a transformation in the mass and size of the electron. Matter was created not out of the chaos of an explosion of space and time but rather from the perfect and orderly reproductive processes of ordinary matter in the form of electrons and protons.
